This plug has a hotter heat range than the Nelson HD glow plug. The hotter range is accomplished by using an element hole that is larger than in the Nelson HD plug and by changing the element wire.
Requires a head made to accept the 11/32" thread used on the Nelson plug. Nelson plug set ups generally provide a performance increase over standard glow plug configurations that have the threads for the plug tapped into the combustion chamber. Nelson plugs seal on a bevel outside the combustion chamber and provide a 'cleaner' chamber. $4.25 each
